Dove Sono...
Questa Settimana-- I'm back, again from lots of traveling! This weekend I went to Cinque Terre and to Pisa... and I think Cinque Terre has now become one of my new favorite corners of the world. :)
And now down to my final two weeks in Rome... *snif snif* how sad! Unfortunately, I will be extremely busy these next two weeks, between my final project, final exams, and taking care of things back home and here in Italy. Don't expect any more pictures to be uploaded until April 27 at the earliest, when I will be in Spain and relaxing. But until then, enjoy the ones I still do have up... and not to worry, because more will be coming!
You may or may not know that I have been working this whole semester to get a job here in Italy in order to take advantage of my time here and push off my school's flight until the end of the summer. I have been looking to work with Pier Carlo Bontempi in Parma, Italy, and things are looking pretty good! He saw my website of my resume and portfolio work, and was impressed by it. He said that the only thing was that he was going to talk to his financial advisor to work out how to pay me, since I will not be able to have time to apply for a work visa in Italy. So, it sounds like I've got the job, and its just a matter of the logistics! So keep your fingers crossed, but more importantly, keep me in your prayers, because there will be a lot to work out if I am going to live in Italy for the summer, including an apartment. Thankfully, money will be taken care of since I have been guaranteed a good-size scholarship as long as I officially get the job. I am extremely excited for this opportunity, and hope that God will put things into place when the time is right, because I'm doing all I possibly can on my end! Until then, lots of patience and a push for the end of the year to be successful :).
Other than that, I have already bought my main flights to Spain to visit and meet my family there for the first time! I am sooooo excited, especially because they are so excited to meet me and receive me "con todo carino y con todo el corazon." :) I feel so blessed!
With all these wonderful things in the vista, I'm still here, pushing forward to get through the end of the school year. Two more weeks to go!
